The highly anticipated second edition of the African Writers Meet is finally here!
This year’s theme is “Getting Noticed In A World Of Noise!”
Here’s what our founder and current CEO Faith Moyosore Agboola has to say about the event:
“The African literary space is growing. More and more young people are going into writing. And even though this is inspiring and exciting for us at The African Writers it is also creating problems for young writers who are truly passionate about the craft. This year, we seek to help writers who are feeling sidelined and overwhelmed by the saturated market to find out the tools to getting ahead in the industry. Our speakers this year are young, inspiring and have broken major barriers in the last one year. We are convinced that learning from their respective journeys as well as participating in the other activities which are also specially created to drive home our aim, this year will be of utmost benefit to young African Writers”
On Sunday the 16th of December, 2018, 200 young writers will come together in an intimate gathering packed with numerous exciting activities.
